Our Commitment: We are committed to your satisfaction and academic success. If our tutoring services don't meet your expectations, we offer several refund options.
1. Satisfaction Guarantee
We stand behind the quality of our tutoring services. If you're not satisfied with your first tutoring session, you may request a full refund within 48 hours of the session completion.
2. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be requested under the following circumstances:
- First session satisfaction guarantee (within 48 hours)
- Tutor no-show or significant lateness (more than 15 minutes)
- Technical issues preventing online sessions
- Cancellation by LearnBoost Academy
- Prepaid packages with unused sessions (prorated refund)
3. Refund Timeline
Refund requests must be submitted within specific timeframes:
- Individual sessions: Within 48 hours of completion
- Package cancellations: Within 7 days of purchase
- Unused sessions: Anytime before expiration
- Technical issues: Within 24 hours of the affected session
4. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be provided for:
- Student no-shows or late cancellations (less than 24 hours notice)
- Sessions completed more than 48 hours ago (except for packages)
- Personality conflicts after the first session
- Academic outcomes that don't meet expectations
- Expired session packages
5. Processing Refunds
Approved refunds will be processed within:
- 3-5 business days for credit card payments
- 5-7 business days for bank transfers
- 7-10 business days for other payment methods
6. Cancellation Policy
Session cancellations:
- 24+ hours notice: Full refund or rescheduling
- 12-24 hours notice: 50% refund or credit
- Less than 12 hours: No refund, but may reschedule once
- Emergency cancellations will be reviewed case-by-case
7. Package Refunds
For prepaid tutoring packages:
- Unused sessions can be refunded on a prorated basis
- Package discounts may affect refund amounts
- Administrative fees may apply to early cancellations

To request a refund:

- Include: Student name, session details, reason for refund
- Provide: Original payment receipt or transaction ID
- Response time: Within 48 hours

Before requesting a refund, consider these alternatives:
- Switching to a different tutor
- Changing tutoring format (online vs. in-person)
- Adjusting session frequency or duration
- Exploring different subject areas
